Mempro™ Cell-Based Receptor-Type Kinase Production

Inquiry

Creative Biostructure provides high-quality custom Mempro™ receptor-type kinase production services using cell-based expression system.

Mempro™ cell-based protein production system is the most commonly used for produce transmembrane proteins. Receptor-type kinases are a superfamily of membrane-bound and high-affinity receptor proteins that play a crucial role in signaling transduction, including inositol-phospholipid-calcium pathway and Ras pathway. Receptor tyrosine kinases and receptor protein serine/threonine kinases belong to receptor-type kinases family. A tyrosine kinase can phosphorylate tyrosine residues and a serine-threonine kinase serine or threonine residues. It has been reported that the structure of receptor-type kinase cantains a transmembrane domain, an extracellular ligand-binding domain and a cytosolic tail.

Creative Biostructure has extensive experence in native activity of receptor-type kinase production in cell-based protein expression system, we can provide various strategies for Mempro™ cell-based protein production, including:

  • Mempro™ Protein Production in Bacterial Cells System ;
  • Mempro™ Protein Production in Yeast Cells System;
  • Mempro™ Protein Production in Incest Cells System;
  • Mempro™ Protein Production in Mammalian Cells System.

Escherichia coli is the most commonly used bacterial host for the production of receptor-type kinases. Yeast cell is a perfect eukaryotic host because of its features, including single cell, fast growth rate, inexpensive media, and high cell density. Insect cell (such as Sf9, Sf21 and High Five) is also a major system for receptor-type kinase expression. Mammalian cell presents another eukaryotic system for receptor-type kinase expression, which provides nearly native-like cell environment. Mammalian cell lines derived from COS, CHO, BHK-21, HEK293, HeLa and GH3 are popularly used for integral membrane protein expression.

With the Mempro™ cell-based protein production platform, Creative Biostructure provides expressing, isolating, purifying and crystallizing receptor-type kinases to facilitate the study of their biological functions.

We provide other various Mempro™ membrane protein production services. Please feel free to contact us for a detailed quote.
