Mempro™ Cell-Free Peptide Fragments of Transmembrane Protein Production

Inquiry

Creative Biostructure can provide customized Mempro™ protein production services for peptide fragments of transmembrane proteins using cell-free expression system. Our unparalled cell-free expression systems can synthsize high-scale transmembrane peptieds.

Mempro™ cell-free protein production system is the innovative system to produce intergral membrane proteins which can bypass the limitations that encountered in cell-based protein production systems, such as host cell toxicity, low yield and solubilization and purification dependent on detergents. Membrane proteins differ from the water-soluble proteins via highly hydrophobic segments required for membrane insertion. However, this inherent hydrophobicity has hindered the study of structural information of membrane proteins. A simple point of integral membrane protein folding is that individual transmembrane segments serve as autonomous folding domains, which can be best studied. Creative Biosture can optimeze synthisis and expression of peptide fragments of transmembrane proteins to facilitate the study of transmembrane segments.

Creative Biostructure has a wealth of experience in high-yield peptide fragments of transmembrane protein production using cell-free protein expression system, we can provide various strategies for Mempro™ cell-free protein production, including:

  • Mempro™ Cell-Free Protein Production in E. coli;
  • Mempro™ Cell-Free Protein Production in Wheat Germ;
  • Mempro™ Cell-Free Protein Production in Rabbit Reticulocyte;
  • Mempro™ Cell-Free Protein Production in Baculovirus.

Among Mempro™ cell-free protein production systems, E. coli S30 extract is commonly used for peptide fragments of transmembrane protein production. Wheat germ extract can provide eukaryotic translation system for peptide fragments of transmembrane proteins. Baculovirus expression system from Autographa californica nucleopolyhedrovirus (AcNPV) is also a major system for peptide fragments of transmembrane protein expression. Crude rabbit reticulocyte lysate is also the most widely used for eukaryotic cell-free integral membrane protein expression systems.

With the Mempro™ cell-free protein production platform, Creative Biostructure is capable of expressing, purifying and solubilizing peptide fragments of transmembrane proteins to study interactions within membrane domains as well as protein structure. Mempro™ cell-free protein production has a large of advantages, including:

  • Very high yield;
  • Low cost in time and money;
  • Lack of toxicity;
  • Incorporation of non-natural amino acids into protein structure;
  • Relatively tolerant of additives.

Creative Biostructure can provide various Mempro™ membrane protein production services. Please feel free to contact us for a detailed quote.
