Mempro™ Cell-Free PGBD Superfamily Production

Inquiry

Creative Biostructure has developed the comprehensive membrane protein production platform through many years of experience. We can provide first-class customized peptidoglycan binding domain (PGBD) superfamily production services through our excellent Mempro™ cell-free expression system. Mempro™ cell-free protein production system is the innovative platform, which can bypass the limitations that encountered in cell-based protein production system, such as host cell toxicity, low yield and solubilization and purification using detergents.

Members from PGBD-like superfamily share a common peptidoglycan binding function and a common core structure of a three-helical, closed bundle with a left-handed twist consists of two families, including peptidoglycan binding domain (PGBD) family and matrix metalloproteinases (MMP) N-terminal domain family. PGBD family proteins are N-acetylmuramoyl-L-alanine amidase YbjR (C-terminal domain) and Zn2+ DD-carboxypeptidase (N-terminal domain), while MMP N-terminal domain family proteins are Fibroblast collagenase (MMP-1), Gelatinase A (MMP-2), Gelatinase B (MMP-9) and Stromelysin-1 (MMP-3). In addition, The N-terminal domains of MMP are similar to PGBD, and which can accelerate extracellular matrix degradation.

Creative Biostructure is highly-experienced in performing various strategies for high-quality PGBD superfamily proteins, including:

• Mempro™ PGBD Superfamily Production in Bacterial Extract
E. coli S30 extract is commonly applied for membrane protein production. Mempro™ membrane protein expression by bacterial extract provides you the enhancement of expression of desired membrane proteins, and easy to perform scale-up membrane protein production.

• Mempro™ PGBD Superfamily Production in Wheat Germ
Creative Biostructure provides eukaryotic translation system for PGBD superfamily production in wheat germ system. This system facilitates the membrane proteins performing correct folding and post-translational modifications and maintaining the correct structural and functional properties.

• Mempro™ PGBD Superfamily Production in Rabbit Reticulocyte
Crude rabbit reticulocyte lysate is the renewed system for eukaryotic membrane protein production, providing multiple options for the optimization of the production protocols, such as the availability of materials, protein origin and complexity, downstream processing, etc.

• Mempro™ PGBD Superfamily Production in Baculovirus
Baculovirus expression system from Autographa californica nucleopolyhedrovirus (AcNPV) is also an powerful host for protein expression, which is developed in the early stage that transfected insect cells in combination with vectors derived from the baculovirus.

Creative Biostructure can also provide Mempro™ plant-based virus-like particles (VLPs) production services, Mempro™ animal-free recombinant protein production services and Mempro™ membrane protein production services. Please feel free to contact us for a detailed quote.
