Mempro™ Cell-Based Co-A dependent acyltransferases production

Inquiry

With the most advanced technology and years of experience in the field of membrane protein production, Creative Biostructure now provides custom Mempro™ cell-based Co-A dependent acyltransferases production service for both academic and industrial applications.

Co-A dependent acyltransferases constitute a membrane protein superfamily that contains several families, including Choline/Carnitine O-acyltransferase family, Chloramphenicol acetyltransferase like (CAT-like) family and condensation domain family. These acyltransferases are responsible for the transfer of acetyl groups from the acetyl-coenzyme A (acetyl-CoA) to various substrates, and play important roles in many cellular programs. For example, choline acetyltransferase catalyzes the transfer of one acetyl group from acetyl-CoA to the choline yielding acetylcholine (ACh), an important neurotransmitter. The bacterial enzyme chloramphenicol acetyltransferase catalyzes the attaching of acetyl to the chloramphenicol, thus the chloramphenicol will be prevented from binding the bacteria ribosomes, and the bacterial chloramphenicol resistance will be achieved.

Cell-based protein production systems are the most widely applied technologies in the field of soluble membrane protein production. With years of experience, Creative Biostructure can provide our customers all kinds of Mempro™ Cell-based protein expression systems for target Co-A dependent acyltransferases production, including:

Mempro™ Protein Production in Bacterial Cells System;
Mempro™ Protein Production in Yeast Cells System;
Mempro™ Protein Production in Incest Cells System;
Mempro™ Protein Production in Mammalian Cells System.

Creative Biostructure provides high yield Co-A dependent acyltransferases production with high purity (>98%). Our science team will develop unique strategy according to your special needs. We will take the bacteria systems as our common first choice. In bacteria expression systems, membrane protein can be expressed as either soluble membrane protein or as inclusion bodies representing in cytoplasmic aggregates. The yeast systems are also considerable as they combine many advantages of both prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems such as single cells, relative economic costs, high cell densities, faster grow rates, etc. Another mainly applied system kind is the insect cell systems such as SF9, High Five, etc. These insect cell systems are developed from transfected cells of insects and combined with vectors derived from the baculovirus species AcMNPV. Mammalian cells expression systems is the most powerful technique as they provide nearly-native intra cellular environments for the expression of CoA-dependent acyltransferases. Cell lines derived from CHO, HEK293, COS, BHK-21, HeLa and GH3 are widely applied for integral membrane protein production. We will take every detailed characteristic and your experimental requirements into consideration to establish the optimal strategy in each individual case.

Creative Biostructure also provides a wide range of other custom membrane protein production services with multiple advanced technologies. Welcome to contact us for more details.
