Mempro™ Cell-Based Transmembrane Proteins with NAD(P)-binding Rossmann-fold Domains Production

Inquiry

Creative Biostructure can produce custom transmembrane proteins with NAD(P)-binding Rossmann-fold domains by our engineering Mempro™ cell-based transmembrane protein production systems.

There are two subfamilies in transmembrane proteins with NAD(P)-binding Rossmann-fold domains superfamily: tyrosine-dependent oxidoreductases family and flavin-containing amine oxidoreductase family. The tyrosine-dependent oxidoreductases family, called the SDR family (short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases) as well. This family has already been identified almost 140 enzymes currently. Members in SDR family includes pteridine reductase 1, corticosteroid 11-beta-dehydrogenase, isozyme 1, tropinone reductase 2, and sorbitol dehydrogenase. Most tyrosine-dependent oxidoreductases share a catalytic center based on tyrosines. All of them play a pivot role in metabolisms of amino acids, carbohydrates, lipids, and hormones. Flavin-containing amine oxidoreductase family is composed of various amine oxidases, including GlpO (alpha-glycerophosphate oxidase), protoporphyrinogen oxidase, and monoamine oxidase A and B. They are closely related to the metabolism of amine.

Creative Biostructure provides various strategies for Mempro™ cell-based transmembrane proteins with NAD(P)-binding Rossmann-fold domains production, including:

•      Mempro™ Transmembrane Proteins with NAD(P)-binding Rossmann-fold Domains Production in Mammalian Cells System
Creative Biostructure can provide Mempro™ protein production in mammalian cells system. This system is able to produce native membrane proteins with their correct conformation and post-translational modification. Numerous mammalian cell types can be used as membrane protein expression host including HEK-293, CHO, COS-7 and BHK-21, etc.

•      Mempro™ Transmembrane Proteins with NAD(P)-binding Rossmann-fold Domains Production in Bacterial Cells System

Escherichia coli (E. coli) is the most powerful bacterial host applied for membrane protein production. Our bacterial cells system has optimized Lemo21 (DE3) strain for our Mempro™ high-yield protein production.

•      Mempro™ Transmembrane Proteins with NAD(P)-binding Rossmann-fold Domains Production in Insect Cells System
The baculoviruses can be applied as hosts for eukaryotic membrane protein production. Compared to E. coli system, Mempro™ protein production using insect cells system leads to a high expression level and the reduction of the truncated protein.

•      Mempro™ Transmembrane Proteins with NAD(P)-binding Rossmann-fold Domains Production in Yeast Cells System
Yeast cell is a perfect eukaryotic host which has advantages such as cheap, fast-grow, and high-yield. Single-celled yeast is able to preform various post-translational modifications for eukaryotic membrane protein.

Creative Biostructure are your reliable research partner to produce high-quality membrane proteins. We offer you the best services to express, isolate, purify and crystallize the transmembrane proteins with NAD(P)-binding Rossmann-fold domains.
