Antibodies

Inquiry

In recent decades, antibodies have been used as drugs in targeted therapies for patients with cancer, autoimmune diseases, and cardiovascular disease. Antibodies are vital to human health because they act as natural drugs to protect the body from infection. Therefore, it is very important to capture their dynamic structures to further understand their function and promote drug development. Our cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM) platform shows advantages in studying the structural and conformational changes of antibodies, which provide a foundation to engineer and synthesize antibodies for clinical applications.

A complementary advantage of cryo-EM over X-ray crystallography is that cryo-EM can rapidly freeze thousands of proteins for data collection. No crystallization process is needed. Cryo-EM is no longer limited to the scope of basic research and has been applied to many directions such as small molecule drug discovery and preparation technology, antibody research and development, vaccine research and development, gene therapy research and preparation technology, and so on.

If you are interested in our cryo-EM services for drug discovery, please feel free to contact us. We are looking forward to cooperating with you.
